Our program is similar to larger, usually non-profit, therapeutic riding programs. Much like other programs, the horse is used to help facilitate independence through an equine experience.

Equibloom is not tax-exempt and does not solicit donations.

Meshelle Rives

Meshelle Rives is the founder of Equibloom. She is NARHA certified and the director of all activities. Meshelle is a life long horse enthusiast.

Meshelle loved the horse as early as she can remember. The horse is at the center of her personal experience and professional life. Meshelle understands the benefit of a relationship with a horse.

She is certain that horses help her. The horse has strengthened her body, mind and spirit. Meshelle is thankful for the many years the horse has been a healer, mentor and friend.

Knowing the healing gifts of the horse, Meshelle found interest in riding programs for people with handicaps. Equest, a therapeutic riding center in the Dallas area, became a regular part of Meshelle's routine for several years. The experience was awesome!

So moved and excited by this new use of the horse, Meshelle rededicated herself. Therapeutic riding became the focus in her equine career. More than a decade later, she is proud to offer a unique opportunity for riders with challenges.

Meshelle has created a program that serves individuals who have realized a desire to make the horse a part of their lives. This program is unique in that the therapeutic rider has an opportunity to experience horsemanship and equitation in a professional equestrian environment.

"I am excited about offering a safe and quality equine experience for the special rider. I believe any person can enjoy a relationship with a horse."
