The rider will participate in grooming and tacking, leading the horse and other activities from the ground.

Back to top   Long Reining - 10 minutes

The rider will long rein the horse around the field or mounting area and then treat the horse.

Back to top   Mounted Work - 30 minutes

The rider will mount and follow a lesson plan. The curriculum each month of weekly lessons is planned to include a monthly topic, an obstacle course, a bareback lesson and a dressage lesson.

The rider will dismount, lead the horse back to the barn, reward the horse with a treat, and return to the waiting area. Parents are given a briefing, usually by the proud and accomplished rider!
