From arrival to departure, a rider is given the opportunity to express independence through horsemanship.
This time is to fit the rider's helmet, talk about the activities or other topics and answer the many questions that are asked by riders.

The rider will mount and follow a lesson plan. The curriculum each month of weekly lessons is planned to include a monthly topic, an obstacle course, a bareback lesson and a dressage lesson.

The rider will dismount, lead the horse back to the barn, reward the horse with a treat, and return to the waiting area. Parents are given a briefing, usually by the proud and accomplished rider!
